Horne Creek Living Historical Farm
This 20th century Living Historical Farm located is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday. Annual events include the Cornshucking Frolic (October) and Christmas by Lamplight (December). Other events focus on the lifestyles of folks who lived on a rural farm in the 20th century including sheepshearing, baking, and plowing with animals. Ice cream socials, music, and children games are also enjoyed. Home to the Southern Heritage Apple Orchard, unique to its kind in the U.S.
While pets are allowed in the visitor center area, they are not permitted in the historic farm area. For those traveling with pets, the farm has a kennel and crates where visitors may keep their pets while touring the farm.
