Round Peak Vineyards

Round Peak Vineyards is located a few miles outside Mount Airy in a picturesque setting framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Round Peak produces a number of award-winning French and Italian wines and is one of only two NC wineries growing the coveted Nebbiolo grape. Tasting room include a large covered back patio with seating area, mountain views and occasional live entertainment.

Round Peak's dry and semi-dry wines are produced under the Round Peak label, while its line of semi-sweet and sweet wines are produced under the Skull Camp label. The winery also serves a line of Skull Camp craft beers from its sister brewery in nearby Elkin.

An 18-hole disc golf course meanders through the vineyards. The front nine is mostly in shaded areas near the tasting room and is geared toward beginners. Intermediate and advanced players will want to play the entire course, which features a longer, more challenging back nine spreading across the expanses of the property.

Overnight guests are welcome at two rental cabins in the vineyards. Both can accommodate several guests and are easy walking distance from the tasting room.
