Experience the magic of storytelling with a weekend of memorable performances and interactive workshops in Downtown Mount Airy. This free event invites everyone to connect through the art of storytelling.

Friday, March 14
Surry Arts Center | 5 PM – 7 PM
Kick off the weekend with captivating stories from Jennifer Frandsen, Mitchel "Fonzy" Fonville, Patise Stepney "Mardia," and Jim Lloyd.

Saturday, March 15
Pages Books & Coffee | 10 AM – 12 PM
Enjoy heartwarming stories shared by Jennifer Frandsen, Jennifer Jones and her dog, Chilly, and Brett Gordon.

Telling Stories with LIFE Workshop
Mount Airy Museum of Regional History | 12 PM – 2 PM
Join this interactive workshop to explore key storytelling techniques. Participants will create their own three-minute stories and collaborate on a group piece. Attendees are invited to share their work during the Storytelling Open Mic later that day.

Storytelling Open Mic with LIFE
Mount Airy Museum of Regional History | 3 PM – 5 PM
Enjoy an afternoon of live storytelling hosted by Lashunda LIFE Booker, featuring Alecia Malone, Jessie Cockerham, Smoovewords, Lucy Goins, Jim Lloyd, and more.
