Warm Wine & Cozy Times Trail

NOTE: Days & hours of operation vary by location. Please check winery websites or Facebook pages for specifics.
The second annual Warm Wine & Cozy Times Trail is an opportunity to get out and explore North Carolina wine country in winter, while keeping Jack Frost from nipping at your nose.
Eight wineries come together to offer a warm wine or cozy drink every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now through Feb. 27. Options range from glogg and warm sangria at Carolina Heritage to vin brulé – a traditional Italian sweet & spiced wine at the Wisdom Table tasting room in downtown Elkin.
These three-day weekends are a fun way to experience wintertime in Yadkin Valley along the Surry County Wine Trail.
Here is a list of participating tasting rooms and what each offers:
> Carolina Heritage -- glogg, warm native sangria and warm apple pie
> Golden Road -- tram apple cider
> Hidden Vineyard -- a punch to Franc the Tank
> Pilot Mountain Vineyards -- warm apple mist
> Round Peak -- mulled spice wine (changes weekly)
> Serre Vineyards -- winter warm sangria
> Stony Knoll -- red mulled wine and white wine wassail
> Wisdom Table -- vin brulé: traditional Italian sweet & spiced wine
